About Robert

Transforming lived experience into leadership and social change.

Drawing from more than two decades of advocacy, Robert is a nationally recognized community thought leader, speaker, and consultant who confronts HIV criminalization, stigma, and discrimination while advancing equity and building pathways toward justice through strategy, education, and storytelling.

“I could not have imagined that the end of a consensual relationship would result in felony charges and jail time. That is exactly what happened to me because I’m living with HIV. My life would never be the same.”

Through his consultancy, Robert partners with organizations, coalitions, and socially responsible businesses, including academic institutions and public agencies, to design equity-driven strategies that bridge advocacy, public health, and human rights.

His work centers on modernizing HIV criminalization laws, strengthening leadership capacity, and creating systems that reflect dignity, inclusion, and justice.
