Educational Video for EHE Campaign (New Orleans) “Bounce to Zero” Conversation: HIV Criminalization

This full-length educational video was co-produced as part of the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) campaign “Bounce to Zero,” commissioned by the New Orleans Health Department, to address HIV stigma, misinformation, and the impacts of HIV criminalization.

The conversation frames HIV criminalization as a systemic public health issue rather than an individual moral failing. Designed for broad community audiences, the video supports public education efforts by aligning contemporary HIV science with legal and policy realities, emphasizing the importance of accurate information, trust, and equity in public health responses.

This resource contributes to leadership and capacity building by demonstrating how public institutions can use education and narrative clarity to counter stigma, improve understanding, and support more effective, evidence-based approaches to HIV prevention and care.
